Explore the Grandeur of Dubai with Budget-Friendly Vacation Packages

Dubai is one of the most charming places to see on the planet. From the world’s tallest Hotel - Burj al Arab, to the world’s tallest building Burj Khalifa, magnificent temples, manmade islands, and sizzling beach clubs, Dubai delivers hot-stepping odysseys for just about everyone. Featuring a diverse assortment of Emiratis, Arabs, Filipinos, Indians, Iranians and Europeans, Dubai also has a fascinating mishmash of people and languages that give the city its uniquely varied cultural appeal.

However, for its visitors, there is far more to Dubai than just five-star hotels and islands - although of course if all you’re looking for is a luxurious bout with the sun, sand and shopping, the city takes some hiding. If you want to step beyond the tourist corniness, you’ll find that Dubai has much more to offer than you might actually believe.

1. Cheap and Chic Eats

This is a city for everyone, from super rich to the super poor. The local-born Emiratis, who make up about 12% of the population, are extremely wealthy, but the town was built on the spines of a huge working-class population, mostly from the Indian subcontinent and from the less prosperous areas of the Gulf. The best way to experience these distinct social strata is through the stomach.  At the top end, there are five-star hotels serving scrumptious cuisines on platter, while on the other end there is the Dubai's cheap-eats street. Here restaurants catering to the city's less well-off people are present on the walkway so you can people-watch while eating food comprising of varieties of dishes from Iran, Lebanon and the Indian subcontinent.

2. Extravagantly Themed Shopping Malls

Dubai has several shopping malls too based all around it. Though shopping in Dubai can be a major disappointment for many as shops are unfamiliar and no cheaper than in other places of the world. However, malls in Dubai have their own grace and uniqueness. The gargantuan Mall of the Emirates has an indoor ski slope that has been bejeweled with real snow, while the mall of Arabia - the largest mall in the world at 10 million Sq. ft., has a real-life Jurassic Park like dinosaur themed park called Restless Planet, a major attraction for tourists.

3. Gold Markets

Dubai is known for really cheap gold - but you'll have to barter for it. Whether or not you're willing to buy some gold, a small stroll through the glittering Gold market is a must. The stores offer varieties of valuables made of platinum, diamonds and sometimes silver. The government keeps tight control over the quality of all the products, so you can also stay assured that your purchases will be always genuine.

4. Champagne Brunch

Dubai is a Muslim state, but the alcohol here flows abundantly. Though it’s a rule that alcohol can be served only within the confines of a hotel, but with an estimated 450 hotels in the Emirate, some with many bars, restaurants, and clubs you won't be left craving at all. If your stay in Dubai includes stay on a Friday, you will also have a firsthand experience of the city's strange relationship with the bottle. While Friday is said to be the holiest day of the week for Muslims, many of the city's restaurants offer "champagne brunch” for people.

So if you have made up your mind to visit Dubai, now is the time book your Dubai vacation package from TUI India and make your trip the most exciting and enjoyable one, which you are going to cherish for a really long time for sure.
